Big brother mode: activated! Kendra Duggar (née Caldwell) and Joseph Duggar spoke about life with their 2-week-old daughter, Addison, and their 17-month-old son, Garrett, with Us Weekly and said their son is really loving being a big sibling. “We’ve quickly adjusted to being a family of four,” the duo said on Monday, November 18. “Our new pastime is staring and smiling at this precious new face! Garrett is very interested in his new sister. We may be a little tired but what we lack on sleep has been made up in happiness!”

The Counting On couple welcomed baby No. 2 on November 2, at 5:33 a.m. “Addison Renee has made us a family of four and we are already so in love with her!” the couple told Us at the time. “She made a quick arrival in the early hours of the morning and has already melted our hearts. We know Garrett is going to be a great big brother. Children are each a special gift from God and we are so happy our newest blessing is here.”

Joseph, 24, and Kendra, 21, announced that they were expecting their second child just 10 months after Garrett arrived in June 2018. “We are ready to double the fun at our house!” the couple said in April. “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone.”

That news came after some speculation from fans that Kendra might be pregnant again. In March, some Duggar fans found what looked like Kendra’s Pinterest account and noted that one of the boards on the page was titled “baby announcement.” Since Counting On fans are basically always on the lookout for pregnancy news from the supersized family, rumors spread quickly that the couple might be expecting once more, even though their son was still pretty young.

Kendra and Joe told Us in late October that they weren’t too concerned about adding another little one into the mix. “We’ll both be busy, I guess. All hands will be tied up taking care of little ones, but there are always challenges. [Our son] can’t do much himself, so he’s going to need a lot of help, but we’re excited about this new chapter.” Well, at least it sounds like he’s interested in helping — when he gets a little bigger, anyway!
