Jordyn Woods Admits She Has ‘Trust Issues’ Following Tristan Thompson Scandal
Getting real. Jordyn Woods admitted she still has “trust issues” following the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal in a new interview with Teen Vogue. While the model admitted she’s “always had them,” she says it’s gotten worse “especially now.”
“Everyone is trying to figure out what I’m doing, but to be honest, I don’t know what I’m doing,” the 21-year-old said during the interview which was published on Thursday, August 22. “I’m finding my self-worth. At 21, this is the very beginning, even though I feel so old. This is the time you figure out who you are, and don’t let anyone define you.”
In February, the SCNDNTURE designer was spotted canoodling with the athlete, 28, after a night out at a bar. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time. Not only did Khloé, 35, call it quits with Tristan, but Jordyn’s former BFF Kylie Jenner decided to cut ties with her as well. Jordy moved out of Kylie’s home, and the 22-year-old unfollowed Jordyn on Instagram.
So, how does Jordyn label what happened between her and the KUWTK starlet? “What’s the definition of breakup?” she said before looking up the definition on her phone. “’The separation or breaking up of something into several pieces or sections. The end of a relationship.’ Those are the two things. What I’d ask is, ‘Does anything really end? Or is it a cycle?”
She continued, “The toughest breakup I had to go through was losing my father. Everything doesn’t feel as intense as that. Losing my dad prepared me for everything that happens in life, and life has thrown some really crazy things at me. That’s part of the process.”
These days, Jordyn has been hanging out with Megan Thee Stallion — who created the term “Hot Girl Summer” — and fans are living for their friendship. “I love hot girl summer,” she said. “But being a hot girl to me is about intelligent, too.”
