Jon Gosselin Seemingly Hints That He Has Custody of His Daughter Hannah in Cryptic Message
Does Jon Gosselin have custody of his daughter Hannah Gosselin? Fans have been following Jon on social media ever since he stopped filming his family's defunct TLC reality TV series Jon & Kate Plus 8, and they have been buzzing ever since Jon started sharing a ton of new photos of him with his daughter on social media over the past two weeks. Now, the father-of-eight took to Instagram to share a cryptic message that seems to hint that he may have been awarded custody or more visitation with Hannah.
"Unfortunately Hannah couldn’t make it to this video but I’d like to thank everyone for the love and support you’ve showed us this week. Obviously you know the situation, if you don’t know the situation, you should just get together with a friend or anyone that understands the situation," Jon said in a video message on Instagram.
Many fans speculated in the comments that Jon had been awarded custody of his daughter Hannah and thought its unclear if Hannah is living with her dad full time now or if she's just visiting with him for the summer, it seems like Hannah and her brother Collin are the only ones out of their siblings who wants to spend time with their dad.
Hannah and Jon have had an especially close father-daughter bond, and if Jon was awarded custody of Hannah then it would mean that his motion to file for sole custody of Hannah back in 2015 had finally made it to court. Three years ago, E! News reported that Jon was seeking custody of only one of his eight children — he shares 17-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 14-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Alexis, Leah, Collin, Joel, and Aaden with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin — and it was because Hannah said she was "unhappy and uncomfortable" living with her mom.
