It looks like someone finally gave Jana Duggar a break! Though the oldest Duggar daughter has been known to be pretty crafty when it comes to putting together a bunch of bridesmaids dresses, it looks like her twin John David Duggar and his new bride Abbie Grace Burnett decided to go a different way at their wedding. Instead of having gowns handmade by one of the bridesmaids, they went the store-bought route. We bet Jana was happy to hear that!

According to the Facebook page Duggar Family News: Life Is Not All Pickles And Hairspray, which frequently posts insider information about the famous fam, JD and his new wife decided to hit up Macy’s. According to “Pickles,” Abbie picked out this Adrianna Papell short-sleeve gown with a sequin top and tulle skirt, and it’s totally gorgeous. They also shared a few other details about what the couple had at their ceremony, including breakfast foods at the reception and a getaway plane instead of a car. Check it out.

They also spilled the beans that Joseph Duggar was John’s best man during the ceremony, but that Josh Duggar and Austin Forsyth were also part of the wedding party. So was Jana, though it doesn’t seem like any of the other sisters were included. After all, Abbie has plenty of sisters of her own to fill out the ranks. Apparently, Jill Duggar‘s son Israel was the ring bearer — even though “Derick wasn’t there.” Oh, and of course there was a prank when it came time to exchange rings: “The ring was flown in by a drone.”

If you’re thinking this wedding was missing a homemade touch — or some of Jana’s blood, sweat, and tears — don’t worry. Though she may not have made the bridesmaids dresses, John-David’s twin and her BFF/resident Duggar party planner Laura DeMasie did team up to make “all the decorations” for the event. But hey, at least it was more in the vein of interior design, which Jana actually likes, rather than just being the family’s seamstress. We bet this was one contribution that the 28-year-old was more than happy to take care of.

As for what went down after the reception, well, you know that pilot JD just had to fly his new bride away rather than hopping into some general old car. After all, the couple went on dates while courting by flying around, John proposed in an airplane hangar, and they hosted their wedding in one, too. They had to keep the theme alive, you know? Stick to what you know and all that. And, of course, the other Duggars also stuck to what they know by heading right to Chick-fil-A after the party. Yeah, that tracks. It does sound like an awesome party, though — and we can’t wait to see all the details for ourselves when TLC inevitably drops the special episode of Counting OnNow we just need to know when we can tune in!
