Michael Jackson’s Father Shares Rare Photo of Grandson Blanket Along With Bizarre Video Message
On Monday, Nov. 13, Joe Jackson — the 89-year-old Jackson family patriarch — shared a bizarre video message dedicated to Blanket “Bigi” Jackson, the 15-year-old son of Michael Jackson. In the post — accompanied by a rare photo of the teen — Joe discussed his grandson’s health and told him to “see a lot of movies.” He also confused Bigi at one point with his older brother, Prince! Watch the video below for more strange details.
Earlier this month, Prince Jackson, 20, was injured in a motorcycle accident on his way to a class at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, Prince rode his bike down an LA street in the rain and lost control. The eldest Jackson child was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was cleared of any injuries. Prince shared a photo from the experience on his Instagram account with his 362,000 followers, where his legs are strapped up in the back of an ambulance. “Well s–t,” he captioned the image.
Michael — whose shockingly passed away in 2009 — famously covered his three kids’ faces with masks while out in public. Paris Jackson, 19, told Oprah Winfrey in 2012 her famous father did so to protect their privacy and maintain some semblance of normalcy. “I was really confused, like I didn’t get why I was wearing a mask,” the then-13-year-old told Oprah at the time. “But I understand it now, why our dad would want our face to be covered, so we went out without him, we wouldn’t be recognized and we could have a normal childhood.”
