Jinger Duggar On Motherhood: 'I Love It That She Is My Daughter'

This is so lovely. Jinger Duggar shared a somewhat rare post about motherhood on Instagram, and Counting On fans are loving it. And let’s be real: The more Felicity content there is, the better. That girl is too precious!

Jinger started the post by writing, “I love being a mother. I love it that the first thing I see in the morning is her little smile. I love it that she can’t contain her excitement when she hears her daddy’s voice. I love it that she crinkles her nose when she laughs…just like I do. I love it that she is my daughter.” How sweet is that?

It’s a unique gift that allows me to demonstrate toward my daughter the love that God has graciously demonstrated toward me. It’s a profound gift that reveals the heart of God in a way I had never imagined. It’s a weighty gift that places upon my shoulders the nurture of this tiny soul. Motherhood is a gift for which I thank God every day.

Jinger’s seriously delightful post continued, “Motherhood is a gift. It’s a gift not to be taken for granted and it’s a gift that ought not be despised. It’s a unique gift that allows me to demonstrate toward my daughter the love that God has graciously demonstrated toward me.” Well, that’s not a huge surprise. The Duggars are all about being fruitful and multiplying as part of their belief system and all.

Jinger added that motherhood is “a weighty gift,” and one that she thanks God for every day. I mean, who wouldn’t be thankful for that sweet smile Felicity sports? Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo definitely got lucky with their little girl, and they seem to know it based on how often they share adorable moments with their daughter on social media.

Duggar fans seriously adored Jinger’s message to her daughter. In the comments, people wrote things like, “Beautiful mother beautiful words! 💗” And there were plenty of responses noting just how precious baby Felicity is. “She’s so beautiful. You are both blessed to have each other,” one fan replied. Clearly, Jinger should write about how amazing being Felicity’s mom is more often because everyone seems to agree!
