Awkward interaction. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni “JWoww” Farley wasn’t the only one who thought her now ex-boyfriend, Zack Clayton Carpinello, got too close for comfort with Angelina Pivarnick during a recent episode of the show. In a new teaser released on October 16, Vinny Guadagnino reveals that he saw Zack “grabbing” Angelina at the club and immediately thought it was “weird.”
“Last night was crazy,” Angelina began in PEOPLE’s sneak peek video. “The weirdest thing is I saw you guys dancing at Drai’s and he grabbed you,” Vinny replied, before revealing how much it shocked him. “What the f—k was that?”
Angelina expressed how happy she was that Vinny saw it all go down, adding, “I wasn’t dreaming.” As viewers may recall, Jenni was drunkenly passed out while Zack was getting cozy with Angelina, and he even had his arm around her.
“Jenni was right here, you were next to him and he grabbed you and was touching your ass,” Vinny said. “That was weird.”
“Oh, his hand was all over that s—t,” Angelina says. “I don’t know, I can’t put my finger on the kid. In all honesty, I felt that he got too comfortable way too quick with me. It wasn’t normal.” Vinny agreed, noting, “I mean, I wouldn’t do that.”
In the confessional, Angelina later mentioned how she didn’t “trust” anything about JWoww’s love interest at the time.
“Even though I don’t like Angelina, I actually agree with her right now — that was kind of a shady situation,” Vinny added. “I know that Jenni is looking through Zack-colored lenses right now, but if she finds out about this whole thing, she’s going to flip out.”
After the jaw-dropping episode aired, JWoww took to Instagram to vent her frustrations. “I feel disrespected by someone I called a friend and by someone who stated they loved me,” she wrote. “For 5 months I was kept in the dark about this. For 5 months I was naive, probably laughed at and made into a storyline that will forever haunt me.”
The reality star continued, “My hearts hurts on so many levels. One thing I learned from tonight’s episode is know your value. Don’t ever lower your standards.”
Zack later posted a statement revealing that he regretted how he handled the situation. “I made mistakes that I cannot take back, which I take full responsibility,” the former professional wrestler wrote. “Jenni does not deserve any damage from anybody else. This is on me. I sincerely apologize to Jenni. I apologize to Angelina as well.”
“I love Jenni, with everything I have. I make this known to her every day,” he concluded. “I will continue to do everything to make this known to her and her kids, who also have my heart. I will make it certain that nothing like this ever happens again, in any way regardless of the outcome.”
