Will these people ever learn?! Jenelle Evans took a lot of heat on Feb. 15 for posting a photo of herself shooting a gun just one day after the tragic Parkland school shooting that left 17 kids dead. Less than a week later, both the Teen Mom 2 star and her recently-fired husband David Eason posted several photos of her son Kaiser Griffith shooting a toy gun. Watch the video above to see the controversial photos and fan reactions.

Of course, for all of the people fuming at the idea of giving a child a weapon (even a fake one), there were also plenty of fans defending Jenelle and David. "You can tell this is a toy gun!," said a supporter. "Teaching kids gun safety and how to hunt is part of the southern life ?. Acountry boy who was raised around guns and knows how to shoot and respect guns would never be a threat to someone! Good for you letting your boys be boys and learning to hunt ??."

Rights aside, Jenelle and David have taken a lot of backlash about their lax attitudes towards guns in the way of the Parkland school shooting in Florida, and David even lost his job following a gun debate gone wrong.

On Feb. 18, David was arguing with some people about gun control on social media and said, "It only makes sense to protect our kids the proper way, the only way we know how," while linking to an article about concealed carry gun laws for South Carolina schools. "Education is how we protect our kids," someone clapped back. "Starts with intentional parenting."

"And just what makes you think you have a right to tell me how to be a parent?" he responded, then taking things way too far by saying, "Because you think you know me? LMAO, why don't you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals. Oh, I forgot, that's supposed to be normal." On top of that drama, poor Kaiser's dad Nathan Griffith was arrested for a traffic violation one day before the controversial pics were taken. Our hearts go out to the three-year-old.
