Just days after she announced that she's expecting her third child, and first with boyfriend David Eason, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans revealed that she had a miscarriage months earlier.
The 24-year-old reality star detailed her recent health issues to Us Weekly and after a visit to her endocrinologist, came to learn she was pregnant.
“I had an appointment with [The Doctors’ Dr. Peter Weiss] while I was in L.A. for the [Teen Mom 2] reunion, and I said, ‘Look, my endocrinologist says I’m pregnant, now I’m bleeding, I need to know what’s up,'" Jenelle says. “And he was like, ‘Well, we did an ultrasound, we did a urine sample and we did a blood test. Everything is coming back that you’re not pregnant.'"
But when she returned to her primary endocrinologist, the news was confirmed.
"When I went home, my endocrinologist said, ‘Well, it looks like you had a miscarriage,'" she adds. "So actually instead of it being my period I [thought I] had, I guess [it was] a miscarriage the month before I even got pregnant. And that’s when everyone thought I was pregnant at first.”
Now, the brunette star is expecting a daughter, who she plans to name Ensley Jolie Eason, and the little family is growing. Jenelle is already mom to son Jace, 7, with ex Andrew Lewis and son Kaiser, 2, with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith.
We can't wait to meet the little one!
