First comes love, then comes years of hiding your relationship, then comes marriage, then comes Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes with a baby carriage! Just weeks after the two finally went public with their relationship, In Touch has exclusively learned that the pair is ready to take a big step in their relationship — and they’re talking about getting married and starting a family.

“Things finally have taken a turn,” an insider tells In Touch exclusively. “Jamie sat down with his closest friends and opened up about his feelings and plans for a life with Katie and [her daughter] Suri [Cruise]. He wants to marry Katie and have a baby with her.”

And they’re sure to have a full house! Between the two of them, they already have three daughters; the funny guy is daughters to Corinne, 23, and Annalise, 8, from previous relationships. Katie famously shares daughter Suri, 11, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

According to a source close to Jamie and Katie, they previously kept quiet about their relationship because of her former marriage to the controversial actor. “Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” the source explained. “She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter Suri.”

And apparently, the relationship hasn’t sat well with her ex — which isn’t surprising, considering he was once close friends with the Mission Impossible actor. The source continued, “Tom has known about Katie and Jamie’s secret relationship since the beginning and it has always bothered him that they were hooking up. While Katie and Jamie did their best to keep things a secret from the world, Tom is too well-connected and found out about them shortly after their romance began. Tom is shocked and upset that Katie is dating a costar he once considered a close friend. He feels betrayed by both of them.”
