Awkward? Jamie Foxx Has Dinner With Rumored Flame Sela Vave and Ex Kristin Grannis in Malibu
Don’t you think this would be a little bit weird? Jamie Foxx was seen having dinner at Nobu with his ex Kristin Grannis in Malibu, and he brought along a very special guest for the occasion — his rumored new flame, Sela Vave. Uhh, what?
Jamie, 51, was spotted at dinner on August 26 with the two ladies, and they all reportedly ended their evening at his home in Thousand Oaks, California. The outing came just days after Jamie and actress Katie Holmes ended their six-year relationship and after he spurred speculation that they had broken up when he was seen out and about with another woman in Los Angeles — Sela.
Jamie was photographed leaving the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Los Angeles at 2 a.m. on August 17, holding hands with Sela. They were later both seen entering his white Lamborghini SUV and leaving the nightclub together, and the whole interaction definitely made people wonder whether or not Jamie and Katie were over.
A source previously told In Touch exclusively that the Ray actor didn’t “hide his flirty ways” with other women throughout his relationship with Katie, 40. “He’s always turning up to Hollywood parties and L.A. events and being photographed with other women,” the insider said. “He’s always been this way … That’s part of why Katie was so hesitant to go public with their relationship. He can’t help himself.”
So, are Jamie and Sela officially together? After all, bringing a new woman around to meet your baby mama seems like a serious move. For what it’s worth, when the Beat Shazam host went on “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” on Real 92.3 and discussed his relationship with the up-and-coming performer, he denied they’re an item.
“People are saying I’m dating the girl, let me just say this, that’s absolutely not true,” Jamie said. “I know the nature of the business that we’re in, so I don’t trip on headlines, but when it comes to that part and the girl and her and what I’m trying to do for her as an artist. I feel that I have to be an elder, her ‘Uncle’ as she calls me, and step-in and say, ‘Hey guys, don’t let it be the double standard’ … I got a 25-year-old daughter and I don’t date in my daughter’s range … ever!”
