Who Is Sela Vave? Meet the Woman Jamie Foxx Was Spotted Partying With Before Katie Holmes Split
It looks like he’s moved on. Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes split up and ended their six-year relationship, In Touch confirmed on August 19. Rumors of their breakup have been swirling for weeks, particularly since he was spotted out and about with another woman in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 17. That other woman is Sela Vave, an up and coming artist. Here’s what you should know about the actor’s possible new girlfriend.
Jamie and Sela Have Been Seen Together in L.A.
A source told In Touch that Jamie, 51, and Katie, 40, have “been on and off for a while, but Jamie always manages to talk Katie into giving him another chance.” It doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen this time, because the actor was recently photographed exiting the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in L.A. at 2 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, while holding hands with Sela. They were also later seen entering his white Lamborghini SUV and leaving the nightclub together.
Sela Was Born and Raised in Utah
While Jamie grew up in Texas, his possible new love interest is a Utah girl. She moved to Los Angeles from Utah in July of 2019.
Jamie Is Mentoring Her Career
Jamie appeared with Sela and a young rapper he’s working with named J Young during an interview on LA’s Power 106 FM on July 22. During the interview, the young performer said she’s been singing, “Ever since I could talk. I have one single out on iTunes but we’re working on my debut album.”
Sela Is Also a Model
The singer’s Instagram profile lists her as a “recording artist/model/actress.” Her Facebook page says she’s a “model/actor” at Talent Management Group, Inc. So she’s not a total newbie to the entertainment industry.
Jamie Is All Over Sela’s Instagram
How did we not see this coming? Jamie has actually appeared in several of Sela’s Instagram posts throughout the summer. One featured just the two of them and she wrote, “I am so grateful to this man! Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me. #feelingblessed 🙏🏽.” Do you think they’re definitely an item now?
