Looking out for her. Hayden Panettiere’s friends are giving her “some solid advice” to dump her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, a source exclusively told In Touch. “Their relationship is as dysfunctional as they come, and Brian’s recent arrest for domestic violence should be the last straw, but Hayden is going through some very tough times,” the insider revealed. “Honestly, no one seems to be able to get through to her.”

On May 2, the 29-year-old was arrested at 2:25 a.m. and put into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department before being booked into jail at 6:15 a.m., In Touch confirmed at the time. According to records, his bail was set at $50,000. The Nashville alum, 29, was reportedly out drinking with her man in Hollywood on May 1. After they got home, they allegedly got into a physical altercation.

“Hayden and Brian say they love each other, but when they drink, they’ll usually end up arguing and fighting,” the source continued. “This time, Brian crossed the line.”

The blonde beauty’s mom, Lesley Vogel, wasn’t totally surprised by the ordeal but wanted to make sure her daughter was safe. “I’m in shock,” she told Radar Online. “I knew he had an incident with his father, and he has a tendency to do that [physical violence]. Never had I thought it would be against Hayden, or I would have addressed it sooner. I have addressed many things.”

This isn’t the first time Brian has been in trouble with the law, either. Hayden and Brian visited his family in South Carolina in October 2018 and police were called to his father David Hickerson’s house. David had “what appeared to be blood on his face,” the incident report read, and Hayden “appeared to be frantic.” David told the cops he fell, but it’s unclear what the truth is.

“They’re a lot alike, but it’s very obvious that they’re not good for each other,” the insider added. “Thank God the cops came to her rescue this time, but she needs to leave Brian and get sober before something really bad happens. Hayden needs help.”

Well, it seems like everyone really cares about the New York native, so we hope she gets these issues resolved sooner than later.
