Cory Monteith will be remembered in LA on Friday night.
One of the Glee star's neighbors tells In Touch that the actor's close pals have put together a memorial service.
"It's at his house," the acquaintance tells In Touch. "The invite was informal — just a Facebook message telling us to come to the house at night."
The neighbor tells the mag that he's not sure who will be there, but that many of Cory's closest confidantes will be in attendance.
"Everyone is going to tell funny stories and bring photos."
The service will be held nearly a week after the 31-year-old was discovered dead in his room at Vancouver's Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel on Saturday, July 13. Cory died from a lethal combination of drugs, including heroin and alcohol.
As In Touch reported, fans will honor Cory at a candlelight vigil outside the hotel, which is also set for Friday night.
Cory's mom reportedly cremated his body after holding a viewing at the hospital with his brother, Shaun, and girlfriend/co-star, Lea Michele, on Tuesday.
