Duggars Celebrate Jessa And Ben Seewald's 4-Year Wedding Anniversary

Time really does fly! Jessa and Ben Seewald celebrated four years of marriage on Nov. 1, and the Duggar family marked the occasion with a lovely shout-out. The Duggar family blog posted some sweet photos of the couple, and shared some memories about the day to celebrate the anniversary.

“Jessa and Ben Seewald have a reason to be joyful today, and it’s certainly not the Northwest Arkansas weather, which is cold and rainy,” the blog post began. “They are celebrating their wedding anniversary! Four years ago, it was another chilly day, as more than 1,000 guests watched Jessa Duggar marry Ben Seewald at First Baptist Church in Bentonville and then joined the elated newlyweds for an outdoor celebration. We remember the day very well.”

Indeed, Jessa and Ben were married in early November just four years ago. It may seem like it hasn’t been that long, but when you realize they already have two little boys together — Spurgeon Elliot, who is almost 3, and Henry Wilberforce, who isn’t even 2 yet — it’s clear that quite a bit of time has passed since this Duggar couple tied the knot.

The blog post wished the young couple a happy anniversary, and included several photos of Jessa and Ben at various points in their relationship. There are a few shots from when the two of them were courting included — after all, they may have had the longest courtship of the Duggar siblings. They started seriously dating on Sept. 16, 2013 and Ben asked Jessa to marry him 11 months later, on Aug. 15, 2014.

When Jessa and Ben got married, there were approximately 1,000 guests in attendance — even born-again Christian actor Kirk Cameron was there! Guests noshed on ice cream from a sundae bar because the couple isn’t “big” on cake, and the whole affair was an event to remember for the super-sized TLC reality series family.

Now, four years later, the Duggar family still found a way to commemorate the day Jessa and Ben said “I do.” Even with the many weddings this family has put on, apparently they still consider each one special enough to remember every single year.
