Watching season 9, episode 2 of Counting On should’ve been pretty straightforward, especially since we’ve already seen Jinger Duggar have her baby IRL. But watching her head to the hospital as Josiah Duggar and his new bride, Lauren Swanson, recreated The Sound of Music in Austria, we had more questions than ever before. Like, where did Laura DeMasie go? Jana Duggar‘s BFF was there way back when the birth special was dropped in August 2018, but conspicuously missing this time around.
