Be Still, My Heart! Chelsea Houska’s Hubby Cole DeBoer Shares His Thoughts On Adopting Aubree

Cole, 30, and Chelsea have two kids together, one-year-old son Watson, and a newborn daughter, Layne. Cole is also very close with Chelsea’s nine-year-old daughter Aubree.

So, when the MTV star said he was free to answer questions via Instagram, a fan asked: “Would you love to adopt Aubree?”

Cole kept his reply short and simple, letting the world know “100%.” Aubree’s biological father is Chelsea’s ex, Adam Lind, but Aubs reportedly isn’t as close with her troubled dad.

Chelsea, 27, previously opened up about her daughter Aubree’s relationship with Adam while chatting with Dr. Drew on the Teen Mom 2 reunion special, which aired in August.

“I’m grateful that [Aubree] has someone like Cole. You know, who has gone above and beyond,” Chelsea said via Skype. “But there’s no doubt that this has to hurt her, will hurt her, deep down someday.”

In January, Adam reportedly lost custody of Aubree following his recent assault arrests, according to Radar Online, but he does get supervised visits.

On an episode of Teen Mom, Aubree revealed that she wanted the same moniker as little brother Watson, and she later got her wish by having her last name changed to Lind-DeBoer.
