Too Cute! Chelsea Houska Reveals She And Aubree Have A New Nickname For Baby Layne
So sweet! Chelsea Houska revealed she and Aubree have a new nickname for baby Layne, and the moniker fits the little cutie perfectly. In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Nov. 7, Chelsea revealed that they’ve started calling her “Lay-Lay,” and we can’t think of anything more adorable.
Chelsea’s daughter is only a few months old — she gave birth to Layne on Wednesday, Aug. 29 — and already, she’s stealing hearts all over Instagram. The 27-year-old invited her Instagram followers to ask questions while her kids were sleeping, and several of the inquiries were about her newest little one.
“Any nicknames for baby Layne?” one person asked Chelsea, to which she replied, “I find myself calling her Lay-Lay and Aubree has started calling that now too lol.”
The reality TV mama has three children: Aubree Lind-Deboer, whom she shares with Adam Lind, a son named Watson she shares with husband Cole DeBoer, and Layne, who is also Cole’s daughter. Her journey with Aubree’s birth and early life was captured on 16 and Pregnant, and she was later featured on the spin-off series Teen Mom 2.
Other questions followers asked the Teen Mom 2 star during the impromptu Q&A included topics like general parenting and food-related inquiries. She was asked what her favorite dinner to make is, and she responded, “anything in the crockpot.” She also said that after she gave birth, she ate Qdoba in the hospital. Chelsea said the transition to parenting three babies is “so far, so good!” and that Aubree is “an amazing big sister.”
Luckily, Chels shares a lot of photos of her kids on social media, giving us an inside look at her life as a mom when the TV cameras are off. Lately, she’s even been posting videos of baby Layne, but can you really blame her? Just take a look at how adorable the little girl is in the clip above.
We will definitely be waiting anxiously to see if the nickname Lay-Lay sticks as Layne gets older. It certainly suits her!
