Don’t go! On Wednesday, August 7,  Channing Tatum made women sob everywhere when he announced he no longer will be gracing our newsfeeds. Channing, 39, explained why he felt the need to take a social media “break” in a heartfelt Instagram post.

“I’m gonna take a break and come off socials for a minute. I’ve been trying to get inspired and create again,” the actor wrote. “And to be honest, I don’t really feel or at least I haven’t felt very creative on social in the last couple of years now. I’m gonna go and be just in the real world for a while and off my phone. I’ll probably come back at some point. But if I do, I want to have a direction or a clear point of view for why I’m on here and what I’m putting out there. Love ya! See ya after a while!”

The Magic Mike star’s fans were in total support in his decision, though they hate to see him go but love to watch him leave. “Have fun doing you for a while. Going to miss seeing your gorgeousness though (don’t know if that’s a real word but it is now 🤣) x,” wrote one fan while another stated, “You’re not alone in that feeling… take care 🙏🏻.”

Channing’s decision to unplug comes just one month after his girlfriend Jessie J, 31, shared some rare and super cute pics of the couple to her Instagram Story. The couple started dating back in October 2018 and are still in the honeymoon phase. “He’s totally consumed by this love affair and wants to be with Jessie 24/7,” a source exclusively told Life & Style in June. “They’ll spend the whole day in bed together, oblivious that there’s a world out there.”

Maybe Chan’s lady love can help him get his creative juices flowing again. Only time will tell when our man will be back gracing our phone screens again, but if his break inspires him to get on the big screen — we’ll take it.
