‘Cocaine Godmother’ Griselda Blanco’s Son Stars On VH1’s ‘Cartel Crew’ — Meet The Cast
They’re moving on from their past! VH1 is documenting the lives of the children who grew up in the drug cartel lifestyle with the new, upcoming docuseries Cartel Crew. The season premiere is set for Monday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. EST/PST. The show is set in Miami and follows eight descendants of the cartel life — including the son of the “Cocaine Godmother” Griselda Blanco — as they navigate adulthood and come to terms with the effects the legacy had on their upbringing. Now that they’re disconnected from their past, they want to make a name for themselves outside of the drug world, but find that escaping the shadows of their ancestors will come with a price.
