Love can be tricky. Cardi B is reportedly “very torn” about whether or not to get back together with her ex, Offset. An insider told E! News things have “been really hard” for both of them during their breakup, and that Offset is “trying to win Cardi back” but she’s “not on board yet.” Can you blame her?

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, Cardi B, 26, revealed that she and Offset were splitting up. Then, on Dec. 9, Offset wrote in a tweet, “F–K YALL I MISS CARDI.” Which not a lot of people were sympathetic to since the rapper was caught cheating on Cardi multiple times during their relationship with more than one woman.

It sounds like both of them may be having second thoughts about the breakup, but Cardi is reluctant, according to the source. “They haven’t been spending time together and Cardi expressed she still wants her space. She is very busy right now with her work and is focused solely on Kulture,” they told E! News, referring to the couple’s five-month-old daughter.

When Cardi first announced that she and Offset had ended things, she posted a video to Instagram and said, “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. And we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners and, you know, he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we’ve got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault.” With that kind of history, it definitely makes sense that the rapper might have some mixed feelings about breaking things off with Offset for good.

Cardi continued in her video message, “I guess we just grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce. And I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.” So heartbreaking!

Offset’s alleged mistress Summer Bunni even spoke out after the breakup, so there are a lot of people involved in this situation in a very public way. It makes sense that Cardi might need some time to process and decide what she really wants for herself and their relationship.
