You don’t know what you have ’til it’s gone! Hip-hop star Cardi B shocked fans last week when she announced that she is getting a divorce from her husband Offset after a year of marriage. Now, Offset is breaking his silence for the first time since Cardi’s divorce announcement in an in an emotional plea posted on Twitter.

“F–K YALL I MISS CARDI,” the Migos rapper, 26, wrote in a tweet. Fans immediately flooded his mentions and many of them dragged him for making such a public plea for his wife when he was the one who had been caught cheating on her multiple times throughout their relationship with multiple women.

“But you cheated multiple times. You didn’t miss her then,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Should’ve thought of that before you cheated.”

Offset’s emotional tweet comes just hours after Cardi made it even more clear that she wants a divorce. During her performance at the B96 Jingle Ball concert in Chicago on Saturday, Dec. 8, Cardi switched up the lyrics to her verse in the Migos hit song “Motorsport,” according to video obtained by UPROXX. “Instead of rapping “I turn Offset on / I told him the other day / Man, we should sell that porn,” the 26-year-old rapped: “I turn Offset on / I told him the other day / Yeah, we’re gonna get a divorce.”

Cardi and Offset started dating in January 2017 and the couple had a whirlwind romance. After eight months together, they tied the knot in an intimate elopement ceremony in September 2017. Just one month later, the couple conceived their first child together and they welcomed their baby girl, Kulture, in July.

But it seems like Cardi and Offset were unable to work through their issues and she announced their separation on Instagram last week. “I guess we just grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce,” she said.
