Cardi B Insists Her Scathing New Anti-Cheating Single Isn’t About Offset, but Fans Are Still Trolling
With lyrics like "So quick to hang up the phone, when I step in the room, then you want to turn it all around, I'm gettin' tired of playin' fool," it's easy for fans to assume Cardi B's personal new single "Be Careful" is about the Offset cheating scandal. However, Cartier Bardi herself is insisting it's not.
"Chill Ma, I'm a woman I rap about different things, different feelings," she wrote in an Instagram caution responding to fans. "Music is art, nothing personal. Besides, I don't think he would tell me to drop this record if it was personal s–t, It's all love over here." However, the song might be even less personal than fans thought, because a friend of hers posted himself singing the same lyrics to the same tune last year AKA prior to the Offset cheating allegations.

There are even clues in the song that it's not about Cardi's own life, like when she says "Now who was there for you when your a– was out of work? All by myself, taking Little Man to church." First of all, Offset has been at the peak of his popularity since Cardi met him, and they don't have a kid (at least, not yet.)
However, the song still serves as a stern warning for Offset, or any man that dates Cardi, to treat her well or face her wrath. "You better be careful what you do to me, cause somebody might do it to you," she sings, and fans think Offset better watch out. Here are some of the funniest tweets:
