On Friday, September 13, Britney Spears took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday tribute to her sons amid the legal issues involving Britney’s son Sean and her dad, Jamie Spears.

“Oh how they’ve grown… Mamma loves you guys very very much !!!! May you get all your bday wishes and more … 🎊🎊,” Britney, 37, captioned a sweet throwback photo of her and her boys playing on a beach. Fans flooded the comments to gush over Britney’s parenting despite all of the issues she’s faced in the past with custody of her kids. “YOU ARE AN AMAZING MOTHER BRITNEY, DON’T FORGET THAT,” one fan wrote. Another commented, “You’re an incredible mom, we are proud of you baby. You and your babies deserve all the best. You’re the best 💕😘🤗.”

As In Touch previously reported, Britney and her ex-husband Kevin Federline recently adjusted the custody arrangement of their sons, Sean and Jayden. Insiders told In Touch that the former couple agreed on a 70-30 custody arrangement, which means Kevin will have custody of the boys 70 percent of the time while Britney will have custody 30 percent of the time. Despite the fact that Britney and Kevin previously shared 50-50 custody, they had been already implementing the 70-30 custody arrangement since August 2018, and they filed paperwork to make the arrangement official on August 28.

But on August 24, an incident allegedly took place between Britney’s dad, Jamie, and her oldest son, Sean, that could affect her custody. Jamie and Sean allegedly got into a heated argument, and Kevin, 41, claimed Britney’s dad “battered” their son, Sergeant Marta Bugarin, spokeswoman for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, told Radar. Kevin filed a police report on August 25 and on September 3, he was granted a restraining order against Jamie on behalf of Sean and Jayden.

Goldie Schon, Lawyer from Woodland Hills CA/Law Offices told In Touch exclusively, although she doesn’t legally represent any party in the situation, that Kevin could use this incident as a way to gain full custody of their kids.

“Kevin could very well file a motion with the court and say that the alleged incident with Jamie happened because Britney was not supervising the children and left them with her dad and she should have even less time than she has, or her time should be monitored by some paid monitor with the children, even during the limited time she has with the children because she’s clearly not capable of being a supervising parent,” Goldie revealed to In Touch. “Absolutely he could take her to court to do that. I don’t know if he’d prevail but anyone can ask. More time with the children is more money in his pocket.”
