Bret Michaels Tells In Touch: “My Teen Daughter’s So Boy-Crazy, I’m Nervous for the Guys”
He’s dated Pamela Anderson and appeared on his own reality TV dating show, Rock of Love, but rocker Bret Michaels' life experiences with the opposite sex haven’t really prepared him for having a teenage daughter.
The former Poison lead singer has two daughters with ex-fiancee Kristi Gibson, and the oldest, Raine, just turned 13.
“I’d like to think I’m a pretty understanding, cool dad, but she’s 13 going on 21!” he tells In Touch. “My daughter’s so boy-crazy, I’m nervous for the guys. I’m like, ‘Dude, you can’t drive yet, so pedal out of her on your bike!’”
The Celebrity Apprentice winner reveals that he's a protective parent — he monitors whom the girls chat with online when they’re at their Arizona ranch home and admits Raine and her sister Jorga, 8, are the most important people in his life. “My kids and family are No. 1,” the 50-year-old says.
Bret has a new album out June 25 called Bret Michaels Jammin’ With Friends. “All of my friends are on it, from Miley Cyrus to Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Lil Jon and Lynyrd Skynyrd,” he says. “It was two years in the making and one of the best times I’ve ever had in my life.”
