The report claims that it she lost consciousness right after the plane pulled away from the gate, and immediately flight attendants and passengers rushed to help her. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for the fire department and paramedics to arrive on the scene, and the report states that she regained consciousness while still in the airport — but was taken to the hospital for further tests.
At this time, the 38-year-old is said to be in stable condition.
Prior to the incident, Brandy appeared to be in particularly good health — as just last night, she took to Instagram to show off her athletic prowess and shared a video that featured her playing tennis (and totally slaying her serve).
While it’s unclear what the “The Boy Is Mine” songstress was doing in New York, there’s no denying that she’s been keeping busy as of late.
Earlier this week, she was in Puerto Rico, where she received the “Woman of Soul: Lifetime Career Achievement Award” at Xscape Puerto Rico and tomorrow, she was scheduled to make an appearance in Atlanta for the Atlanta Ultimate Women’s Expo alongside her mother, Sonja, tomorrow afternoon.
Sounds like she’s a busy lady — we hope she gets some much-needed, well-deserved rest and relaxation after this scary incident!
