Ben Affleck Wants to Have a Baby With His New Girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus (EXCLUSIVE)

Ben Affleck has only been dating his new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus for a couple of months but insiders exclusively tell In Touch that he already has some big plans up his sleeve. Now that they have finally gone public with their relationship, they have even bigger plans up their sleeves — they want to try for a baby!

“They’re actively talking about having a baby,” an insider tells In Touch exclusively. While the decision may seem rushed — considering they only began dating earlier this year — the insider tells In Touch that they first got close back in 2012, and since then, she’s been waiting for him to divorce Jennifer Garner so they can begin their life together. The insider adds, “They’re ready to start a family.”

Between the two of them, they already have quite a full house; she shares a four-year-old daughter with her estranged husband, and the Oscar winner is proud dad to three kids — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5 — with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. While Ben is head-over-heels in love with his new leading lady, his friends understandably have their doubts about how quickly the new romance is unfolding. An additional source adds, “This isn’t a good move. His friends think he’s completely out of touch with reality.”

And his friends aren’t the only people with concerns — Jen is understandably stressed about the situation, although she’s more concerned about her young children than her own feelings. The insider explains, “This is going to be her biggest nightmare,” because she fears that her children seeing him with his pregnant girlfriend will cause “a lot of drama.”

Now, Jen is urging Ben to slow down with his new relationship — but is ready to take serious action if he doesn’t. “She’s angry, and she has very good reason to be. She’s never been the type who’s about getting retribution, but Ben’s insensitive actions have changed her,” the source continues. “She’s told friends that she wants to take Ben to the cleaners. She hates him for humiliating her, but especially for [what he’s doing] to their kids. It’s payback time.”
