She has her back. The Hills star Audrina Patridge is giving her longtime friend Kristin Cavallari advice following her split from Jay Cutler. “Divorce is hard. She’ll get through it, though,” the 35-year-old said to her former castmate while chatting with Heidi and Spencer Pratt on “The Speidi Podcast.”

“We talked a little bit two or three weeks ago when it first all came out,” the brunette beauty said on the Monday, May 17, episode. “She just needs time to process and feel — it’s literally almost like mourning a death going through divorce.”

She continued, “[There are] highs and lows of fighting and being so sad and thinking, ‘Did I do the right thing?’ It’s like an emotional rollercoaster.”

Audrina can definitely relate to her friend’s current hardship. In 2017, the MTV personality filed for divorce from her then-husband Corey Bohan after less than a year of marriage. The former flames first started dating in 2008 and tied the knot in November 2016 after welcoming their daughter, Kirra, in June of that year. Their divorce was finalized in December 2018.

As for the Uncommon James owner, 33, her split from the former professional athlete, 37, is still very fresh. The former flames announced their breakup on April 26 after seven years of marriage and 10 years as an item. Jay first filed for divorce on April 21 citing irreconcilable differences, where Kristin later responded on April 24. She claimed her ex “is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”

According to divorce documents obtained by In Touch, the parents plan on splitting custody of their three children — Camden, 7, Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4 — equally. This way, they both will be considered “joint primary residential parents.”

Despite her hardships, Audrina is positive Kristin will end up on top. “Kristin will be fine. She’s a tough girl,” she shared on the podcast. “I guarantee you she writes a New York Times bestseller, ‘How to Divorce and Win,’” Spencer added, agreeing with Audrina.

“She is one of the most resilient, awesome, powerful women,” Heidi chimed in, adding, “We’re totally Team Kristin.”
