A source confirmed the two had been an item since June 2019, although they never addressed their relationship status. Prior to the uncoupling, Ari’s brother, Frankie Grande, raved about Mikey in September 2019. “I love Mikey. I think he’s a really sweet guy. So talented. So kind and so caring,” the 37-year-old said to Us at the time. “He’s a great guy.” Frankie went on to describe a “double date” he went on with Ari, 26, and the musician, before clarifying his words the next day.

It was literally four people meeting up as friends, and I would never comment on something so personal about her life anyway.”
