Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry Squash Rumors They’re No Longer Friends: ‘People Look Way Too Much Into It!’
No worries — they’re still buds! Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry, both from Teen Mom 2, answered a fan question about their friendship on Twitter and reassured their followers that all is well in the Teen Mom sisterhood. “So I just need to know if @KailLowry is still close with @ChelseaHouska,” a fan tweeted. “Because the podcast with @hayter25 so made it sound like they aren’t and I don’t know why but that makes me so sad if it’s true 😭 #teenmom2.” Kail, 27, quickly responded, “We are still friends!!”
Chelsea, 28, also chimed in. “I think people look wayyy too much into it! I used to go out and be social during reunions and now I tend to stay in and keep to myself! I still love these ladies … I’ve just become a hermit LOL.” Kailyn then replied to her, “Same, I think we are all so drained and I personally don’t like going to bars or anything. But we all still love each other!” Hooray!
Back when Kailyn announced she was expecting her third child, Chelsea had nothing but kind words for the fellow young mama. She wrote on February 23, 2017, on Twitter, “Congrats @KailLowry 😍👶🏻 I’m so excited for you!!!”
Just because these two don’t gush over each other all the time doesn’t mean they don’t get along. They certainly don’t seem to be feuding the way Kail and Jenelle Evans constantly are, anyway. It might just be that they’re both busy being parents to three kids each; Kailyn has Isaac Rivera, Lux Lowry and Lincoln Marroquin to look after, and Chelsea has her little ones — Watson DeBoer, Layne DeBoer and Aubree Lind-Deboer.
Sometimes, being a mom means you don’t have as much time for things like girls’ nights, that’s all! But that doesn’t mean these two don’t still love each other — so put those fears to rest, Teen Mom fans.
