Anna Faris ‘Thrilled’ Her Son Jack ‘Really Likes’ Her BF Michael Barrett (EXCLUSIVE)
We may not have heard much about Anna Faris‘ new relationship in a while, but it turns out the star’s romance is going great. After splitting with Chris Pratt and filing for divorce back in 2017, she started seeing cinematographer Michael Barrett, and the couple has been going steady for over a year now. It turns out he’s got the seal of approval from someone special, too. A source close to the actress is sharing that her son Jack is a big fan — and that it means a lot to the 41-year-old to see them getting along.
“Jack really likes Michael,” an insider close to Anna shared with In Touch. “As her son is her number one… [she] is thrilled [he] is comfortable and happy.” And the fact that Jack is happy means that his mom is letting herself be happy, too. Her son isn’t the only one giving the relationship the thumbs up, though. “Her friends love them together… It’s so sweet.”
But she has been careful to keep her relationship out of the spotlight for the most part. After living for years as half of one of Hollywood’s most famous celebrity couples, she’s enjoying being able to take a step back. Fans have gotten glimpses of the couple at a carnival with Jack or on vacation in Italy, but they haven’t officially gone public. “Anna has been keeping more private after going through issues with Chris and the limelight,” the source continued. “She is so happy and wants to stay off the radar.”
With her friends and son embracing the relationship, Anna is ready to start thinking about getting more serious, though she’s still a little cautious. “[They] have been talking about the future but Anna is taking it slow this time around,” the source told In Touch. “More Italy and trips are planned to have some fun though… Michael is crazy obsessed with Anna.”
