But are Ellie and Victor still together in 2023? Keep scrolling to learn everything we know about Ellie and Victor’s current relationship status.

How Did ‘90 Day Fiance’ Stars Ellie and Victor Meet?

The Seattle, Washington, native met her international partner while exploring in Colombia. “I was walking on down the beach, and he strolled up on a motorcycle,” she explained in a confessional. “And [he] looked at me with a big smile and said, ‘This is such a great place to watch the sunset.’”

Calling the rest history, the pair spent her remaining three weeks together on the island. Following her return to the U.S., she decided to move to his native of Providencia, an island off the coast of Colombia, to be with her new love.

What Happened On ‘90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’ Season 3?

However, right before Ellie’s arrival to South America, Hurricane Iota — a category 5 storm hit the island in November 2020 — and their inability to see eye to eye on their future on the island led to major tension.

“Victor and I just got in a huge argument about money. We were just sitting here, cheering to like, rebuilding our house. Where did this take such a wrong turn?” Ellie said in her confessional in a November 2021 episode.

Victor walked away from Ellie after their argument as she vented to the cameras. “Got a f–king chip on his shoulder, for sure,” she said. “I was just asking normal, adult conversation questions.”

He walked back into their house, which was still under construction after sustaining damage as according to Al Jazeera, government officials confirmed that 98 percent of Providencia’s infrastructure was damaged.

“Are you guys gonna be OK? You guys wanna talk this out?” a producer asked the couple, as the tension in the room seemed palpable.

Victor spoke first. “Maybe she could just add up the money that I owe her and I would just pay her and then this is over,” he said, hinting that he was ready to call it quits on their relationship. “It seems to me that’s what she wants and that’s what [she’s] worried about all the time: money.”

Ellie rolled her eyes. “That’s what you’re worried about!” she hit back. “You have a complex about it.”

Victor told Ellie that she’s the one who “has a complex about money,” and she laughed. “You were like, worried about so much money. That’s all you’re thinking about, like, money, money, money, money. ‘I’ve been sending you money for two years, for two years,'” he said. “Like, if you’re sending me so much money. Like if you send me millions or something like that. If you send me so much money, I would have a bike or a car. No, I don’t have it. [What] you send me [you can] see is here, on your house.”

Ellie explained that her worry isn’t about the amount of money she’s sent to Victor, but she worried how they would continue to earn a living together in Providencia following the devastating hurricane. Before the disaster, they planned to finish building their home and live on the island while opening up a beach bar where they hoped to get plenty of business from tourists. Since the island would need to be completely rebuilt, Ellie thought it would not be open to tourism for a long time.

“No, you’re not worried about where we actually live, you’re worried about tourism. ‘If tourist doesn’t [come] here, we’re not gonna survive, we not gonna live,'” Victor said. “That’s not the truth! I’ve survived without tourists all my life. You don’t even know anything about this island. You think tourists have been coming here forever? Tourists just started to come here 10 years ago. What we do before 10 years? We survived. You’re just worried about money, money, money, money, money, you know? Money is not all. Remember that.”

Victor told Ellie that he thinks their fight is mostly about the money she’s sent to him, so he offered to give her the money back. “And then it’s over,” he told her, “and leave me to live my life here.”

Ellie walked away and seemed to contemplate Victor’s suggestion about going back to America without him. “I just would like to leave. Like, I want to magically not be here anymore,” she said before breaking down in tears.

After they were able to cool down, the next day they apologized to each other and seemed committed to working on their relationship. Victor even proposed to Ellie. He told her that he had a ring for her but it was lost in the hurricane, so instead, he presented her with a seashell. Of course, she said yes!

Are 90 Day Fiance’s Ellie and Victor Still Together?

Despite the hardships, Ellie and Victor have been able to work past their differences and ultimately made it down the aisle! Returning to give an update on the spinoff 90 Day Diaries in July 2022, the South American native made the move to Ellie’s home state of Washington after applying for the K-1 visa.

While Victor has yet to receive his work permit, he has plans to work as a bartender, despite Ellie owning her own restaurant.

“You don’t want to work for me?” she asked him on the episode.

“I prefer not,” he replied. “So, we can get time … away to miss each other. But I don’t wanna work at your restaurant at all.”

In another scene, the Providencia, Colombia, native confessed to producers, “If I’m working with Ellie and she’s my boss and she’s a bossy boss, I think that would be so awkward.”

However, her offer wouldn’t stand for long as in January 2023, news broke that Elle sold her Seattle-based pizzeria.

“Ellie shared that running a small biz has been extremely stressful. She’s experienced staff shortages, rising costs (which results in higher prices that she doesn’t feel good about) and other challenges that led to exhaustion & an untenable future,” the business wrote via its official Instagram account. “While it was a very difficult & emotional decision to make, Ellie is selling the business, which will likely still be pizza (but perhaps more upscale) and it’s unclear if the new owners will keep the Central Pizza name.”

While fans were sad to see Ellie’s departure from the business, the 90 Day Fiancé alum confirmed in the comment section that while the business is sold, “It’s a good thing.”
