As many know, Kanye West isn’t exactly afraid to speak his mind—especially when it comes to fashion, creativity and entrepreneurship; so when he appeared on a podcast with Bret Easton Ellis, he opened up about his experience with Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh—and let’s just say it wasn’t pretty!
“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on,” Yeezy said. “Meanwhile, he sells all this sh*t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh*t product.”
And Zappos responded in an epic way.
They created a listing for their so-called “Sh*t Product” and sprinkled the post with references to the creative genius.
“This is the throne everyone has been watching,” he said. “Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris.”
LOL! This is amazing—props to Zappos for making light of the situation… and standing up to Kanye. It’s about time someone did!
