Paris Hilton is putting her partying days behind her. At least, that's what she tells Newsweek in their latest issue. "There are a lot of bad people in LA. Before my life was about having fun, going to parties. It was a fantasy," the heiress tells the magazine. "But when I had time to reflect, I felt empty inside. I want to leave a mark on the world." Most of Paris' reflection happened when she served her 23-day jail sentence in June for violating probation. She now wants to use her celebrity for good and is planning a trip to Rwanda next month with the children's charity, Playing for Good. "I'm scared, yeah. I've heard it's really dangerous," she admits. "I've never been on a trip like this before." Paris will visit school and health care clinics as part of a five-day charity mission and yes, it will be filmed. "I love having everything documented," she says.
