Even when it came time to lay Bobbi Kristina Brown to rest, her personal life wasn't void of drama.
After it was reported that Nick Gordon was "begging" Bobbi Brown to allow him to attend the late 22-year-old's funeral, her 25-year-old beau was banned from the memorial services.
But now his mother, Michelle, insists he found another way to grieve.

"Nick went to the beach with me on Friday during the services," she tells People.
"He said the beach was always their favorite place to go, so he decided that he would honor her at a place that they both loved."

The 25-year-old was allegedly not allowed to attend the funeral because of a $40 million dollar lawsuit he is facing from BK's conservators.
The lawsuit contends that Nick was manipulating Bobbi into transferring a "large portion" of her funds into an account solely controlled by him and physically attacked her before she was discovered unconscious and facedown in the bathtub of their Roswell, Ga. home on Jan. 31.
The late Whitney Houston's daughter passed away on Jul. 26, nearly six months after the initial incident.
