When viewers first met Chuck Turner on My 600-lb Life, he weighed a tremendous 693 pounds. Since then he has shed most of his body weight — an impressive 433 pounds — and now he says his weight loss transformation has inspired him to find love again!
The 46-year-old was married to his second wife, Nissa, when he made his debut on the TLC reality show, but the relationship was failing since Nissa felt more like his caregiver than his spouse.

On a reunion special that aired yesterday, Jan. 28, viewers watched as a now-260-pound Chuck revealed he’s preparing to go on his first blind date since going under the knife for gastric bypass surgery in 2013.
And it’s more than just his love life that’s excelling at the moment. He noted his business is expanding and he’s found “inspiration” and “support” in his church.
Tipping the scales at nearly 700 pounds at his heaviest, Chuck has a renewed chance of life and love since dropping the weight. Photo courtesy of TLC.
“There is a lot to look forward to,” he said. “I am looking forward to getting out there and meeting someone, but right now I am going to focus on making more progress.”
