As Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick continue to struggle with his ongoing substance abuse issues and allegations that he regularly cheats, they’ve been confronted with another problem in their personal life: Michael Girgenti continues to claim he’s the real father of the reality stars’ five-year-old son, Mason.

The male model and the mom-of-three, 36, allegedly hooked up back in March 2009 after meeting during an August 2008 photoshoot.

Kourt and Scott were “on a break” at the time of the alleged affair, which occurred nine months before Mason’s arrival on Dec. 14, 2009.

Even though a 2013 lawsuit — in which Michael fought for custody and demanded a paternity test — proved he was not Mason’s father, he says he’s not totally convinced.

“We went to court — she didn’t show up, but her lawyers did,” he tells Radar Online. “What I was fighting for was a court-ordered DNA test.”

Michael still has his doubts about the accuracy of the test.

“I didn’t trust what they provided,” he explains. “The court said that what she supplied was enough, and it was case closed unless there was further evidence.”

He goes on to explain that he would’ve been more satisfied had the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star complied with his wishes and submitted the DNA test through a court-mandated system, rather than providing her own results.

The court case proved to be a minor victory — as it was proven he was honest about their relationship — and he even admits he doesn’t have any plans to take Kourtney back to court anytime soon.

“At this point I have to just believe the system,” he says. “And just kind of let it go.”
