Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been struggling to figure out how to tell their children about Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner’s transition.
A new report claims the parents are finally ready to tell their kids about Caitlyn. While they aren't too nervous and two-year-old Penelope or five-month-old Reign at this time, they know Mason, 5, is old enough to understand what's going on.
“Mason is very inquisitive and they do not want him to find out from other kids or from seeing it on TV, but in meeting her face-to-face and understanding that their grandpa is now Caitlyn," a source told Radar Online.

Scott, 32, allegedly went over to Caitlyn's Malibu residence on Monday to talk about his Vanity Fair debut — and plans for approaching this sticky topic with the kids.
“Scott wanted to talk to Caitlyn to discuss how they were going to present her to the children as it is getting to the point where they know that this is necessary.”

It was previously reported that Kourtney, 36, and her longtime boyfriend were taking extreme measures to protect their children during the transition, and would not even allow them near Caitlyn during the process.
“How do you tell a five-year-old that their grandfather is going to be their grandmother? Mason asks a lot of questions and he is super curious about what is going on,” an insider alleged, “Kourtney and Scott have no idea how to approach this with him."
