Kanye West almost pulled a Kanye West when he stormed the stage while Beck was accepting the Grammy award for Album of the Year last night, but the rapper decided to fight his natural urges of stealing the microphone and throwing a hissy fit.
But that doesn't mean he was okay with it.
While appearing on E!'s after-show, the 37-year-old admitted that his pal Beyoncé was more worthy of receiving the award.
"I just know that the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain't gonna play with them no more. And Beck needs to respect artistry and he should've given his award to Beyoncé," he said.

"Because when you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in their face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you're disrespectful to inspiration. And we as musicians have to inspire people who go to work every day, and they listen to that Beyoncé album and they feel like it takes them to another place."
But Beck isn't arguing with Yeezy. When asked if he agreed that the 'Drunk in Love' singer should've won, he said, "Absolutely! I thought she was going to win. Come on, she's Beyoncé!"

This isn't the first time that the 'Bound 2' singer felt this strongly about an award show winner. In 2009, he famously stormed the stage as Taylor Swift was accepting her VMA for Best Female Music Video, grabbed the microphone from her and screamed that Beyoncé had "the best music video of all time. OF ALL TIME."
Luckily this time around, North West's daddy refrained from making a fool of himself ... but his attempt did get a few laughs out of Queen Bey and hubby Jay Z.
