Bethenny Frankel is in hot water over a tweet she sent that many are calling racist.

The 45-year-old single mom set off a firestorm Friday when she complained about Kmart workers who don’t speak English on Twitter.

The Real Housewives of New York star was fed up over the long line she was waiting in while buying shoes for her daughter Bryn Hoppy.

She followed it up with “not even attempting ‘kids’ snow boots’ in Spanish.”

Fans were quick to criticize her, pointing out that the word for shoes in Spanish is actually “zapatos,” with some calling her racist and others suggesting she vote for Donald Trump.

“@Bethenny@Kmart wow bethenny never took you as a racist, guess you are voting trump,” tweeted one.

“@Bethenny@Kmart You should vote for @realDonaldTrump. He can help you out with that,” another chimed in.

But a few came to her defense, and more than one expressed shock she was shopping at Kmart in the first place.

“@Bethenny @Kmart Um where are you? There is a Kmart in NYC? Why are you in a Kmart? Don’t you have an unpaid intern for this?” joked one fan.

Frankel defended her comments on Twitter on Saturday, and she wasn’t backing down.

“No excuse for being at a retailer & not able to be directed to what u need. 0 to do with race. I’ll explain but can’t understand it for you,” she wrote.

Bethenny is divorced from five-year-old Bryn’s dad Jason Hoppy, with whom she’s been embroiled in a bitter custody battle.
