Smiling with partner Brad Pitt at the New York premiere of her new film, Changeling, Angelina Jolie looked slim, stunning and perfectly content. The mother of six even nodded eagerly when asked if she wanted more children. “Yes,” Angelina told In Touch. “We’re going to have more kids one way or another!”
An insider reveals that “Angie has this attitude that once you have six kids, then adding more into the mix isn’t a problem.” But more children are the last thing Angelina, 33, and Brad, 44, really need, says a friend. “Angie is exhausted all the time, and more kids will only make her more tired,” says the pal. Meanwhile, her relationship with Brad has been strained. Although Angelina told In Touch, “He’s amazing, he’s really hands-on with the kids” while on the red carpet in NYC on October 4, a source admits that “behind closed doors, the couple is at each other’s throats.” Suffering from what some experts believe is postpartum depression, Angelina has been impatient and irritable with Brad, who, according to a friend, did not want to make the trip to New York for the Changeling premiere.
Despite any tension, Angelina is insisting that they expand their family, — and is looking toward adopting another child as soon as February. “Haiti is a favorite right now,” the pal explains. “Angie and Brad were touched by the plight of the children they met when they were in the country a couple of years ago. They want a girl who’s a little younger than Zahara.”
