Andy Dick Talks
'Dancing With the
Stars': I Lost 15
Pounds and Gained a TV
Andy Dick is not only wowing fans with his fancy footwork on this season of Dancing With the Stars— he’s also shrinking!
The comedian opened up to In Touch about his drastic weight loss since first appearing on the competition series six weeks ago, admitting he’s already dropped about fifteen pounds.
“I’m 155 pounds,” Andy says. “Almost my high school weight! I started at about 170-165 [pounds].”
And even though he’s lost some extra padding, he’s also gained… a TV show, that is.

“I landed a pilot,” Andy tells the mag. “The industry wouldn’t touch me for a good, two, three years. Now it’s starting…I got a comedy pilot.”
Adding that he knows the show already “came out in Israel,” and that he’s pretty famous in the Middle Eastern country, the funnyman says, “I’m not even one of the leads [in the pilot]!”
And Andy fans better make sure they vote for him on the popular dancing show, because he’s promising to divulge more juicy details about his new project if he’s lucky enough to make it through this week’s eliminations.
“I hope [the show] gets picked up,” he says. “If we’re on next week, I’ll talk about it because I’ll be working there this week.”
Be sure to tune in to Dancing with the Stars every Monday at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC to see Andy and his dance partner, Sharna Burgess, strut their stuff.
