Travis also voiced his shock at the unsettling news while sharing his favorite memories with the late artist. "I’m at a loss for words… speechless. Spoke to you weeks ago my brother. I loved collaborating with you. You were a true artist, one of the most f—ing talented of our time ?? #RIPXXXTentacion."

I’m really sad about this and hurt how things have changed, so many new young good artist that need to realize their platform and influence." Danielle Bregoli, AKA Bhad Bhabie, even took to Twitter to send her well-wishes before XXXTentacion was sadly pronounced dead. "Pray for my friend X. This is awful."

XXXTentacion was reportedly shopping for motorcycles and sitting in his car when a gunman approached and opened fire, according to TMZ. Hours after the incident, police confirmed that he passed away due to the apparent gunshot wounds. An eyewitness previously claimed the rapper looked lifeless after the brutal attack and didn't appear to have a pulse.

The Broward Co. Fire Dept. said that he was rushed to a hospital following the incident and was a Level 1 trauma patient, but sadly they couldn't save his life. It's reported the murder could be part of a robbery scheme, as two masked men allegedly stole a Louis Vuitton bag from his vehicle after fatally shooting him. XXXTentacion's sky-rocketing career has sadly come to a halt, shortly after he was celebrated as an up-and-coming artist in XXL's Freshman Class of 2018.
