It’s a wrap. Wendy Williams is filing for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, after 21 years of marriage, a source confirmed to In Touch on April 11. Wendy filed on April 10, and Kevin was served papers on April 11. It shouldn’t come as a huge shock to anyone who’s heard the rumors going around for years that Kevin, 46, was allegedly cheating on Wendy, 54, with his alleged mistress Sharina Hudson. But who is Sharina, exactly?

Who Is Sharina Hudson?

Sharina is a 33-year-old massage therapist from New York City, according to sources cited by PopCulture.com. Kevin has been allegedly cheating on Wendy with Sharina for 10 years. Not much else is known about the alleged “other woman,” but her name is popping up in headlines more and more thanks to Kevin and Wendy’s split.

When Did Sharina and Kevin Meet?

That’s not entirely clear. Never-before-seen photos of Sharina partying with Kevin and his talk-show host wife back in 2007 surfaced on April 4, and that might be when they were at an event together for the first time. The pics were taken at a “blackout party” hosted by Kevin, Wendy, and Charlamagne Tha God on December 27, 2007.  Sharina was just 21 years old at the time.

Charlamagne reportedly introduced Sharina to the couple around 2006, according to Page Six. So they may have met at the aforementioned party, or at an undisclosed event not long before.

Is Sharina the Reason Wendy and Kevin Are Getting a Divorce?

In the wake of the divorce news, a spokesperson for The Wendy Williams Show released the following statement: “Wendy and her family have been a part of Debmar-Mercury for over 10 years. We respect their privacy regarding personal matters. As always, we remain committed to bringing an entertaining and topical show to our viewers.” That’s just one indication that no one close to the situation is blabbing about what really caused the divorce to be set in motion — at least, not yet.

As recently as March, Wendy slammed reports that she and Kevin were having marriage issues. “I want to shout out to my husband. I am still wearing my ring,” she said on an episode of her talk show. “Believe me, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years, then … When we got married, we waited like four years before doing the baby projects and stuff. So, we know each other. He is my best friend, my lover, he’s all this, and he’s all that. I know what you’ve been saying, and I know what the streets have been talking about. … Don’t ask about mine until you see this gone,” she said, referring to the ring. Apparently, all that history wasn’t enough.

The personal representative for Wendy Williams sent this statement to In Touch on April 11, “Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.” Really, no one can be sure why Wendy ultimately decided to end things until she comes out and explains her reasons for herself.
