So long, Christian Carino. Lady Gaga was spotted kissing her audio engineer, Dan Horton, while enjoying brunch at Granville in Studio City, California, on Sunday, July 28, People reported. But are they dating? It’s been just five months since she called off her engagement to former fiancé Christian, but perhaps the “Born This Way” singer is ready to move on.

But who exactly is Dan? He’s not an actor, or a fellow musician, or a model, or anything else you might expect of a celebrity of Gaga’s standing. But she does seem to have a type, since the two of them work together — just like Gaga, 33, and Christian, 50, did. Here are five fast facts you should know about the singer’s rumored new flame.

1. He’s a Monitor Engineer

Dan does apparently work in the music business. He works with Audio Engineering Consulting Group on “mastering services, mixing, producing, and audio engineering,” according to his LinkedIn. Not only is he in the industry, but he works specifically with Lady Gaga.

2. He’s Worked With a Lot of Big Names

Dan doesn’t exclusively work with Gaga, however. He’s apparently previously worked with other artists including Jay-Z, Camila Cabello, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Lenny Kravitz and more.

3. They’ve Known Each Other For Months

Gaga and Dan started working together in November 2018, before the launch of her Enigma residency in Las Vegas, Us Weekly reported. The outlet noted that he’s shared a few photos of the “Bad Romance” singer on his private Instagram page and that he uploaded a black-and-white photo of her band’s audio equipment in March.

4. He’s a Divorcée

Dan was previously married to actress Autumn Guzzardi from 2013 to 2018, according to Us Weekly. We don’t see why that would be an issue for Gaga, and honestly, they can probably bond over their past relationships. The performer has broken off two engagements herself!

5. He’s Based in Nashville, Tennessee

Dan’s LinkedIn shows that Music City, U.S.A. is his home base, but his consulting group operates “worldwide.” He seems to travel a lot for tours, which could be good for Gaga, who doesn’t seem like she’s about to slow down her music career anytime soon. Do you think they have a shot at making it work?
