Talk show host Wendy Williams revealed on Wednesday, May 14, that the foundation she once shared with her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter, is no more.

“Wendy Williams has been, and remains, committed to helping others in the struggles of life,” the 54-year-old talk show host said in a statement during a taping of The Wendy Williams Show. “While accepting her new reality, many things in her life have changed including the dissolution of The Hunter Foundation. Wendy’s giving spirit will continue through her work with other foundations. Thank you.”

The foundation, which was established in 2014, was dedicated to providing resources for drug education, prevention and rehabilitation programs and worked to support people as they transitioned from addiction to recovery. Wendy has been increasingly open about her own struggles with substance abuse in the past and recently moved out of a sober house.

“I am moving out of sober house in just a few days, you know. It will be Wendy on her own. I know, I know,” she told viewers on April 15 as they gave her a huge round of applause. “I have to tell you, you know I have been dealing with issues of addiction, alcoholism and I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son. Believe me, when you lay in a room with no TV and four gray walls all day and no telephone and you think ‘This is my life’ at the sober house. It’s one of the best things, honestly, that could have ever happened to me.”

She continued, “When you figure your life, you think about how you’ve been delivering to the world, especially here on this show. It’s no secret we are friends, and sometimes you don’t like me. But anyway, thank you for watching every day. You know you wear a different mask when you are out here. Everybody has — including you, whether you are a secretary or a school teacher or whatever. Everybody has things in their life that they are embarrassed to share with the world, or they are frightened to share with the world, or they are not ready to share with the world. Addressing my sobriety, my addiction, head-on has helped me sort out every single compartment of my life.”

Go, girl! Since then, the brunette beauty has been living the single life and even went out with Rob Kardashian‘s ex-fiancé and baby mama, Blac Chyna. “Listen, she really had an impact on me, and I think she had one on you, too,” she told the audience of her May 15 guest. “I thought she was one way, you did, also. We went back to my favorite Mediterranean restaurant and we ate. She and I have so much in common, it was ridiculous. We were both complaining that the hot sauce wasn’t as good as we would like it. She’s like one of those girls — I feel like I’m going to be her protector friend.”

Aww. You guys! We stan this friendship.
