Another Hollywood couple bites the dust!
According to multiple reports, Tameka "Tiny" Harris has filed for divorce from rapper T.I. following six years of marriage.
Tiny filed divorce documents in Georgia's Henry County, according to court records. An insider revealed to Us Weekly that the couple spent Christmas together amid the filing. Neither T.I., born Clifford Harris, nor Tiny have spoken out regarding the separation, but their recent social media posts indicate they've been in good spirits.
A source revealed to TMZ the couple had been going a "rough patch" that began a few months before a photo surfaced of the singer standing alongside Floyd Mayweather, who doesn't get along with the 36-year-old rapper.
Following the release of Tiny's photo with the boxer, rumors of a split hit the Internet. A rep for Tiny quickly slammed the rumors, “She has read so much about her marriage in the past few weeks that it’s time to set the record straight and really educate everyone on the facts,” the rep explained to People in August.
“Certain blogs have ‘reported’ that she’s going to be a single mom, she’s getting a divorce, she has a new residence and everything in between. On behalf of Mrs. Harris, this is the truth – Tameka and T.I. are good. They love each other and they have a beautiful family with seven amazing children.”
An insider revealed a similar reason behind the couple's abrupt split to E!, claiming they've experienced difficulties in their marriage for a while now and "arguments and disagreements over some issues led them to split."
The couple, who were married in 2010, share three children together, Clifford “King” Joseph Harris III, Major Philant, and an infant daughter named Heiress Diana. Tiny also has a daughter named Zonnique Pullins from a previous relationship, and T.I. shares children Messiah, Domani and Deyjah with two different women.
