Freaking slow down, time! Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley‘s daughter, Leah, has grown up right before our very eyes, but until about five minutes ago, I had no idea she was already going through puberty! I know, right? Teen Mom shared a new clip on their Instagram account that showed the now 10-year-old learning how to shave, and our minds. are. blow.

“Am I gonna cut myself,” the pre-teen asked, before Amber assured her, “No, we’re gonna teach you so you don’t. You take this. And you see how this is? Take it, hold it, and push it in there until you hear it click.”

“We’re gonna need another bottle before no time!” Leah declared as her mama put it in her hand. “Rub it in your hands. Rub it all over your legs.”

Amber carefully showed her daughter how to hold the razor and also how hard to press down on her leg. Right before the clip cut out, Leah asked, “Do I have to shave my feet?!”

So cute!

In her own Instagram post, the 28-year-old shared a sweet photo with her “Boo Boo” and captioned it: “This Monday, my Boo Boo is growing up way too fast for me! But it really bothered her so mommas [sic] to the rescue!” Aww.

Speaking of growing up, Amber’s son — whom she shares with her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon — is also looking more and more like an adult every day. OK, not really. But he does seem to be changing on the reg!

Most recently, she shared a snap of the father-son duo on Oct. 14 and gushed, “My Kind and my Prince! All I need is my little BooBoo and everything is perfect! Can’t believe this is what true happiness feels like even at my lowest moment. I love you guys so much! Sending love everyone!” she wrote along with the hashtags “#NeverTooLate #Wecanchange #Verryblessedmommy [sic] and #MentalHealthhealing.”

Go, girl! We’re so proud of you. Although we hope Leah isn’t too annoyed when she gets older and realizes her first shaving experience was documented for all the world to see! 😉
