Tarek El Moussa Didn’t Tell Ex-Wife Christina About His New Girlfriend, Heather Rae Young: ‘We Got Caught’
Awkward. On Strahan, Sara and Keke, Tarek El Moussa revealed that he had no choice when it came to telling his ex-wife, Christina Anstead, about his new relationship with Heather Rae Young — the paparazzi basically told her instead!
“What were her thoughts about, you know, ‘He’s working with his ex-wife,’ what were your thoughts about telling her that?” Keke Palmer asked Tarek about the new woman in his life. The Flip or Flop star replied, “We were together for a short period of time and we got caught with some paparazzi photos on the back of my boat after we had just started dating, so I’m like, ‘OK, well, the cat’s out of the bag. So, should I tell my ex-wife? Should I not?’ … so I guess the world just let everybody know that we were together.” Oops!

Tarek, 38, shared his first photos with his new girlfriend on August 8, making their relationship Instagram official. “It’s official!!!! After more than three years on my own, I’m so PROUD to say that this beautiful, sweet and talented young lady is my girlfriend!” he started his caption. “I’ll be honest and say I never thought I would meet someone special in my life after the last three years. Then, out of the blue, @heatherraeyoung walked into my life. The first time I saw her smile she ‘did that thing to my tummy’ and I knew right away I needed to get to know her … so I asked her out!! She said yes.”
Meanwhile, Christina, 36, is happily married to Ant Anstead and they’re expecting a baby any time now. She shared on August 30 that the couple had scheduled a C-section just one week from that date. “Our world is about to get rocked — in all the best ways of course,” she wrote on Instagram. “The nursery is ready, the kids are back in school, I’m not sleeping, irritable and uncomfortable. I’m definitely ready to be done and to meet our little man. One week countdown 🙌🏼🎉.” It seems like the former Flip or Flop couple has moved on and they’re both very happy with their new partners.
