It’s a wrap. Sons of Anarchy actor Ron Perlman has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly four decades, Opal Stone Perlman, In Touch can confirm. The star submitted the paperwork to legally end his marriage on Tuesday, November 5, in Los Angeles.

This news about his relationship status comes shorty after Ron, 69, was spotted out and about without his “wedding ring.”

Furthermore, on Sunday, November 3, Ron was photographed grabbing a bite to eat with actress Allison Dunbar at Soho Warehouse, fueling romance rumors between the two. “They definitely seem like an item,” an eyewitness said about the duo, who appeared to be very comfortable with each other. “[They were] very touchy-feely.”

Insiders tell In Touch that Ron and Opal “lived very separate lives” before their split was revealed. “The blonde actress he’s with now isn’t his usual type,” the source claimed about his potential new flame. “He’d flirt on the set with extras like he was a single man. His wife’s name never came up.”

Speculation about Ron and Allison’s relationship began in May 2019, when Us Weekly published photos of the StartUp costars locking lips while making their exit from Alexander Steakhouse in Pasadena, California. Around that time, the two were also seen walking their dogs together in the Los Feliz neighborhood.

On top of that, Ron has even made a few notable appearances on Allison’s Instagram page, indicating how close they have grown in the past year. “Me and bish,” she captioned a photo with him in November 2018. Just a few months prior, the actress shared another portrait from a fun evening out with her costar and his daughter, Blake.

Ron’s decision to file for divorce from the fashion and jewelry designer may still come as a shock to some fans, as they have been married for 38 years. The exes said their “I dos” on Valentine’s Day in 1981 and they later welcomed two children together, Blake and Brandon. Both of their kids are adults now, so luckily, Ron and Opal wont have to get in a custody battle.

The Hellboy star last spoke out about his marriage with Opal during an interview with Ain’t It Cool News in 2018, revealing that overall, he felt “lucky” for the way his life worked out.
